Based in Hertford, Hertfordshire, we provide a boarding service for your hens whilst you are away and need someone to look after your girls.  We are also now open for rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, gerbils, and hamsters to take their holidays with us too. 

We opened our hennels in 2020 after realising that a lot of local hen owners were struggling to find safe homes for their hens when they were away.  We hosted our first hen boarders (Barbara and Sally) when lockdown restrictions were initially eased and their owner, Jean, was hugely complimentary saying: 

"We wanted to get away and had previously left the girls to look after themselves for a day or so. With more foxes visible during the day in our garden we decided to take them to Neil to look after so that they were safe.  They had a lovely time and we shall certainly use the service again when we next need it”.

Our service has gone from strength to strength ever since, growing as a result of families discovering the joy of keeping hens during lockdown.  We have now expanded our accommodation to include eight dedicated houses and runs for your hens to board in whilst you are away – however long that may be.   

We've also expanded to provide holiday accommodation for rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, gerbils and hamsters (and a few other non-furry pets) due to demand.
